JACK WEAVER 1956-1962
PITCHER-THIRD BASE-SHORTSTOP
Entered the league in 1956 with Rogers A.C. and captured Rookie of the Year honors. A member of three All-Star
teams. Played in the league for seven years. A two sport athlete at Siena College and a member of it's Hall of
Fame. Coached varsity baseball at Cardinal McCloskey High School.



BUDDY FLESH 1969-1974
CENTERFIELDER
Joined the league in 1969 at the age of seventeen with Kral's A.C. Played on three championship teams: Kral's A.C.
in 1971, and the sons of Italy in '73 and '74. Also participated 'in the Stan Musial World Series with those teams.
Played college baseball at Duke University on a scholarship. Signed with the Baltimore Orioles in 1975 after a
tryout, and played four years of minor league ball. Best known for his speed on the basepaths.



RICHARD McDONALD 1966-1976
PITCHER-INFIELDER-OUTFIELDER
Perennial All-Star. Joined the league 'in 1966 with Mike's Subs. Went on to play with the Troy Haymakers, Dick
Smith's Chevrolet and Culligans. Selected the league MVP in 1968. Played in the Junior College World Series with
Hudson Valley Commununity College and made its All-Star team in 1968. Received an athletic scholarship to
Colorado State, where he was a two-time Academic All-American. Led Colorado State in all pitching categories.
Coached varsity baseball at Catholic Central High School.





JIM O'BREY 1983-1993
FIRST BASEMAN-PITCHER
Three time All-Star. Played in the league for eleven years with the Sons of Italy and Anaconda-Kaye. This fine
defensive first baseman played on five championship teams: in 1985, '86, '87, '90 and '91. Named the Harold Finkle
Award winner in 1986 as the playoff MVP. Led the league in 1989 with a 2.20 ERA. Finished second in the league
in hitting in 1991 with a .438 average.

LLOYD RACE 1987-1997
OUTFIELDER-PITCHER
One of the best all around players of the '90s. This five time All-star led his Apex Printing teams to three straight
championships in 1992, '93 and '94. Selected the league's MVP in both the regular season and payoffs in 1994.
Won back to back batting titles in 1994 and '95 with averages of .433 and .450. Played 'in the Stan Musial World
Series with Apex Printing. Led the league in RBI in 1991 with 33. A league leader in career home runs with 53.
Finished his career with the Troy Haymakers.
